Dry van, flatbed and reefer freight, hauled like it is ours
Astroduty, LLC is a family run carrier out of South Jersey. You get the equipment you need, a straight quote, and the same people on the phone from booking through delivery.
- Three trailer types under one carrier
- One direct point of contact
- Updates while your load is moving
What We Haul
Equipment matched to the freight, not the other way round
Most shippers end up juggling separate carriers for van, deck and cold freight. We run all three, so one relationship covers the load you have this week and the one you have next week.
Dry Van Freight
Enclosed trailers for palletized and boxed goods. The everyday workhorse for general freight that needs to stay dry and out of sight.
- Palletized and floor loaded freight
- Retail, consumer goods and packaging
- Dock to dock or drop and hook
Flatbed and Open Deck
Open deck hauling for anything that will not fit through trailer doors. Tarped, strapped and chained to the load, not to a template.
- Building materials, steel and lumber
- Machinery and oversized crates
- Tarps, straps, chains and edge protection
Refrigerated Freight
Temperature controlled trailers for cold and frozen product, with the reefer set where your load needs it and checked along the way.
- Produce, dairy and frozen goods
- Set temperature confirmed at pickup
- Continuous run or cycle sentry as required
Why Astroduty
Small enough to care, equipped enough to deliver
Astroduty was built around a simple idea: a shipper should be able to reach a real person, get a real answer, and know where their freight is. We are big enough to cover dry van, flatbed and refrigerated work, and small enough that your load never becomes a number on a board.
- You deal with the owners
No account manager, no call centre. The people who quote your load are the people running it.
- You are not left guessing
We tell you when the truck is loaded, when it rolls, and if anything changes on the way.
- Freight secured properly
Loads are strapped, chained, tarped or temperature set to suit what is actually on the trailer.
- We show up when we said
If an appointment is tight we say so up front rather than promising it and missing it.

How It Works
From first call to delivered load
Four steps, no runaround. Most quotes go out the same day we hear from you.
Tell us the load
Send the lane, the commodity, the weight and when it needs to move. A rough idea is enough to start.
Get a straight quote
We price the lane honestly against the equipment it needs. If we are not the right carrier we will tell you.
We pick up and secure it
The right trailer arrives, the freight is loaded and secured, and you get confirmation that it is rolling.
Delivered and confirmed
We stay reachable through transit and close the loop with you once the load is off.
What You Get
The details that decide whether freight arrives clean
- Regional and long haul
South Jersey and the Northeast corridor are home ground, and we take longer runs when the lane makes sense.
- Paperwork that lands
Rate confirmations, BOLs and PODs handled properly so your accounting is not chasing us.
- Cold chain respected
Reefer set points confirmed at pickup and monitored, because a temperature excursion is not a small problem.
- Secured for the road
Open deck loads get the right straps, chains, tarps and edge protection for what is on them.
Where We Run
Rooted in South Jersey, running well past it
Being based in Maple Shade puts us inside the Philadelphia and South Jersey freight market with quick access to I-295, the New Jersey Turnpike and the wider Northeast corridor. That is our home ground, and it is where we are quickest to cover a load.
We also run outbound lanes beyond the region when the freight and the timing line up. If you are not sure whether your lane fits, send it over and we will give you a straight yes or no.
Common Questions
Answers before you pick up the phone
How fast can I get a quote?
Usually the same day. Send the pickup and delivery, the commodity, the weight and roughly when it needs to move, and we will come back with pricing. If your load is urgent, call us at (380) 275-8090 and we will work it live.
Do you handle both regional and long haul work?
Yes. South Jersey and the Northeast corridor are our home ground, and we run longer lanes when the freight and the schedule work. Ask about your specific lane and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right carrier for it.
What do you need from me to book a load?
The lane, the commodity, weight and dimensions, pallet count if it is palletized, any temperature requirement, and the pickup and delivery windows. Anything unusual about the load or the sites is worth mentioning up front so nothing surprises the driver.
Can you handle freight that needs a specific temperature?
Yes. Our refrigerated work runs to the set point you specify, confirmed at pickup and monitored in transit. Tell us the product and the required temperature range and whether it needs continuous run or cycle sentry.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Astroduty, LLC runs under USDOT 4305466 and MC-1677406, and we have been operating since 2024. Ask and we will send our authority and certificate of insurance before you book.
Who will I actually be dealing with?
The same people, start to finish. Astroduty is family owned, so the person who quotes your freight is the person following it through to delivery. You will not be handed between departments.

Have freight that needs to move?
Send us the lane and the load. You will get a straight quote from the people who will actually run it.
