Our Services

Pick the deck, we handle the rest

Every load is different. What stays the same is that you deal with the same people, get a straight price, and know where your freight is.

Dry Van

Enclosed trailers for general freight that needs to stay dry, secure and out of the weather.

Flatbed

Open deck hauling for loads that will not go through trailer doors, secured for what is actually on them.

Refrigerated

Temperature controlled trailers running to the set point your product needs, confirmed and monitored.

Dry Van

Dry van freight, handled without drama

Dry van is the backbone of most freight programmes, and it is the easiest place for a carrier to get sloppy. We treat it the same way we treat the specialised work: the right trailer, clean equipment, freight loaded properly and paperwork that comes back complete.

  • Palletized and floor loaded

Standard pallets, floor loaded cartons or a mix. Tell us the count and we will tell you if it fits.

  • Retail and consumer goods

General merchandise, packaging, paper, non perishable food and dry goods.

  • Dock to dock or drop and hook

Live load and unload, or a drop trailer arrangement if that suits your dock better.

  • Load security

Freight braced and secured so it arrives the way it was loaded, not shifted across the deck.

Flatbed

Open deck work that respects the load

Flatbed is where shortcuts show up fastest. Straps that are not rated for the load, a tarp thrown on badly, edge protection skipped to save five minutes. We do not run that way. Every open deck load gets secured for the commodity that is actually on it.

  • Straps, chains and binders

Securement selected for the weight and shape of the load, not whatever is closest in the toolbox.

  • Tarping when it is needed

Weather sensitive freight gets tarped properly, with edge protection so the tarp and the load both survive the trip.

  • Building materials and steel

Lumber, steel, pipe, block, roofing and general construction freight.

  • Machinery and oversized crates

Equipment and crated goods that will not fit through a van door. Send dimensions and weight and we will confirm the fit.

Reefer

Refrigerated freight with the temperature taken seriously

A reefer load either arrives in spec or it does not, and there is no arguing with a rejected shipment. We confirm the set point at pickup, run the unit the way your product requires, and stay reachable through the trip so a problem gets solved while the freight is still moving.

  • Set point confirmed at pickup

You tell us the range, we confirm the unit is set and running before the trailer leaves.

  • Continuous or cycle sentry

Whichever mode your commodity calls for, set the way you specify rather than the way it was left.

  • Produce, dairy and frozen

Fresh produce, dairy, frozen goods and other temperature sensitive product.

  • Watched in transit

The unit is checked through the run, and if something looks wrong you hear it from us first.

How We Work

A booking process built for busy shippers

1

Send the details

Lane, commodity, weight, dimensions and timing. Rough numbers are fine to start the conversation.

2

We quote the lane

Priced against the equipment the freight actually needs. If we are not right for it, we say so.

3

Pickup and securement

The correct trailer arrives, freight is loaded and secured, and you get confirmation it is moving.

4

Delivery and paperwork

We stay reachable in transit, then close it out with the POD and clean paperwork.

Before You Call

What helps us quote you faster

The more of this you have on hand, the quicker we can come back with a real number instead of a range.

Pickup and delivery

City and state at both ends, plus anything unusual about the sites such as tight access, no dock or limited hours.

Commodity and packaging

What the freight is, how it is packaged, pallet count or piece count, and total weight.

Dimensions

Length, width and height, especially for open deck freight where over dimension changes everything.

Temperature range

For refrigerated loads, the required set point and whether it runs continuous or cycle sentry.

Timing

Pickup window, delivery appointment, and how much flexibility there is on either end.

Special handling

Anything that changes how the load must be secured, loaded or unloaded.

Service Questions

Details shippers usually ask about

Do you run under your own authority?

Yes. Astroduty, LLC operates under USDOT 4305466 and MC-1677406, and has been running since 2024. We are happy to send our authority and certificate of insurance before you book.

Can you quote a lane you have not run before?

Yes. Send it over. We will look at the lane, the equipment it needs and the timing, and come back with a price or an honest explanation of why we are not the right fit. We would rather turn down a load than take one we cannot cover well.

Do you offer drop trailer service?

It depends on the lane and the volume. If a drop and hook arrangement would work better for your dock than live loading, tell us what you are picturing and we will let you know what is workable.

What happens if something goes wrong in transit?

You hear about it from us, not from your customer. Delays, weather, mechanical issues and appointment problems get communicated as soon as we know, along with what we are doing about it.

How do you handle securement on open deck loads?

Securement is selected for the specific commodity: rated straps, chains and binders sized to the weight, edge protection where the load needs it, and tarping for weather sensitive freight. If the load has unusual dimensions or a difficult shape, we work that out before the truck is dispatched.

Can you handle a load that needs more than one trailer type?

Often, yes. Because we run van, deck and reefer, a shipper with mixed needs does not have to line up three separate carriers. Send the whole picture and we will tell you what we can cover.

Tell us what needs to move

Send the lane and the load details. We will come back with a straight quote and a clear answer on timing.
